Innovative news at the museum!
Among the 24 Hours pioneers on display at the museum, the H24EVO is presented for the first time. A hydrogen-electric prototype, unveiled in sketch form in October 2023, then revealed in a scale model last June, it will take to the track in 2025. This is MissionH24’s 3rd prototype, a program launched in 2018 by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest and H24Project, aimed at promoting hydrogen in motor racing. This technology is helping to decarbonize racing and mobility more generally. By 2028, a new category reserved for hydrogen-powered prototypes will be created for the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the FIA World Endurance Championship. The public will have the opportunity to admire this exceptional prototype, embodying the future of endurance racing.
On display from the Museum entrance until September 22, it will be accompanied by a number of fun and educational activities:
- Building the H24EVO in paper miniature for children
- Hydrogen production
